I've been MIA. So I thought I would post a very random rendition of what we've been up to.
July 4th weekend- We traveled to the Dirty South (aka Medford). We go every year for the fourth. It includes an adult raft trip (very fun), lots of BBQ's, lots of kiddo's playing, a parade and a big fire works show at a friends house. Had a great time seeing friends, and Davis enjoyed seeing a parade for the first time and fireworks. He screamed for more bands and waved to everyone during the parade and clapped and shouted WHOA during the fireworks.

We're Official!- No not pregnant, but after we got back from Medford we had Monday off (B had all week off but I'll get to that later). We decided that Davis and I needed passports. So we ventured to a few post offices and finally got it done. I wish I had a copy of Davis's picture...seriously folks, its hilarious! His hair is going every which way, he is slyly grinning, and looking off to the sky. I'm not knocking my own kid, but B and I laughed and said it looked a bit chester the molesterish :)! HAHAHA we laughed! We are hoping to join B's parents in Canada in the next month or so....but really....I want to go abroad, so now this is one last thing stopping me.
Boys Weekend!- Nope not for little 2 year old boys and wives, but B headed to Bend for the annual North/South golf tourney. Its just a tourney of friends from here (North team) and the dirty (medford/south team). So D and I tried a few things out. We had date night at the gelatto shop, which he refused to try gelatto so I ate the whole thing.
We had a garage sale at my sisters (I made over 400!!), we hit the Camas Library for story time (SOO much fun), we then hit the Portland Library off Belmont on Saturday for their story time.
If you haven't done this, I highly suggest it. We sang songs, read books, the kids played, and played with a parachute. D loved it! While the kids were playing we were supposed to go around the room and share other good places to take your 1 year old....UHHH folks, I work 40+ hours a week...this is a treat! But I had a few places up my sleeve so I didn't sound like a complete bad mom! So moms....a few spots they mentioned- Urban Grind, Airplay Cafe, Wilshire Park (they have a younger play section, we checked it out today and its great!), Mt. Scott pool, and the park off Fremont and 7th...I guess they have a good water play area.
Sewing- I'm working on this for my Neices birthday! Its been fun, but challenging...not sure how many more of these I'll ever make. I also plan to make this as well, which I'm really excited about.

Back later this week to show the final product.
